How To Lose 5 Pounds Of Belly Fat In 30 Days

5 Reasons Americans Are Obese — That Have Nothing To Do With Food

It would not be wrong to say that losing weight is less about efforts and more about dedication and determination. If only losing weight was as easy as taking a bath… Well, according to the popular Aoqili Seaweed Soap, worth 140 RMB a bar, it is. Made from "vitamins and minerals derived from the sea," along with "a homeopathic blend of trace elements" (whatever that means), apparently "the Chinese believe that the extract from the soap has special properties that allow it to penetrate the skin by osmosis and react with the fat deposits that are directly stored beneath the skin and make them blood soluble.  The blood flowing into this area picks up the emulsified fat deposits and flushes them out of the body resulting in the loss of body fat in the areas where the soap is applied. Others say that the main component of fat cells is water and seaweed extracts dehydrate the cells, thereby shrinking their appearance." So basically… no one has any idea what they're talking about.

I don't mean to sound as if I'm excited about this process, and my progress, each and every day. There are days I'm down on myself and ready to throw in the towel. But there are many more days when I'm hiking with friends and can feel myself powering up hills that used to be a struggle, or when I go to bed satisfied, knowing I hit my daily nutrition goals Yes, it can be difficult, but I challenge you to focus on the process of lifestyle change, rather than on the small piece of the puzzle represented by the bathroom scale. If you make sustainable improvements to your lifestyle, the results you're looking for — whether that's weight loss, better health or improved performance — will absolutely follow.

We also found some interesting scientific studies that were conducted to confirm the weight loss effects of Oolong tea. Japanese scientists put lab rats on a high-fat diet for 10 days and then administered Oolong tea. It was found that the caffeine in Oolong tea induced fat mobilization and increased pancreatic lipase (fat breakdown) activity. This led the scientists to believe that Oolong tea can be used as a drug for treating obesity and fatty liver ( 1 ). Another study by Chinese scientists on human subjects confirmed that Oolong tea helped fat metabolism and prevented obesity ( 2 ). In the next section, we discuss how oolong tea and weight loss are related.
